I really can't believe that I am getting ready to post this scenario. Didn't school just end for the year? I know for many of you parents, this might be too early to think of gathering school supplies but I think that this is one deal that you can't pass up! This Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at CVS, you'll be able to get many school items for free so I have compiled a scenario to help you buy the most with the least out of pocket costs! To see the actual items and all of the CVS deals for this week, go here for my list.
Transaction 1:

Transaction 7:
Buy (1) 3 or 5 Subject Notebook - $3.99
Use $2.97 ECBs
Pay $1.02 plus tax, get $3.00 back in ECBs
Total cost: $5.23 plus tax and you still $3.00 in ECBs leftover to roll over to something else! This might seem like a lot of transactions but really the cashiers don't mind and I know at our CVS, they expect it. This deal will be even better if you already have ECBs to apply to this. I have $4.00 in ECBs so I would pay $1.23 in tax and have $3.00 in ECBs left. I don't need school supplies but this would be a great way for me to help another family by donating some.
