Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil: A New Way To Cook! {Review and Giveaway} ends 8/8

I absolutely love to cook and trying new things in my recipes is always fun. My family loves to try different foods and I love introducing foods that are healthy and beneficial to them.

Several years ago, I was introduced to Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil and loved it. It became a main ingredient for a healthy granola like bar that I would make myself. I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to review Tropical Traditions' Virgin Coconut Oil and their book "Virgin Coconut Oil: How it has changed people’s lives."

This book was great in that explained other unique ways that you could use their Virgin Coconut Oil in recipes. So my journey into a fun, unique cooking experience with Tropical Traditions began :-)

I immediately tried it in my homemade spaghetti sauce that night. I cook my spaghetti sauce in a crock pot so I left it there to simmer, a little curious as to whether my spaghetti sauce would taste weird. Actually it was unique and quite good. I thought it might have a coconut flavor but instead it added a little bit of a sweet, nutty flavor that was quite good.

I also decided to fry my zucchini and squash in the coconut oil to see if it would be much different than my olive oil. Again, it was yummy and just added a hint of a different flavor.

I love that it does not have the saturated fat that Vegetable Oil has and is quite healthy for you. The video below explains how Virgin Coconut Oil was discovered and the unique way that it is made for Tropical Traditions.

To purchase your own Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil, feel free to visit their site here. Not only do they have Virgin Coconut Oil but they have some other great organic products that my family loves. This truly is a great company for organic, healthy alternative cooking products for your family.

Since Tropical Traditions believes that you will love their Virgin Coconut Oil as much as I do, they are giving away a quart of free coconut oil to one my readers.

i posted this before but I don't see it on here now.

I would like to try their insect repellen. It would be great to have something to keep the bugs away that doesn't have a ton of chemicals.
