Glow Baby - Baby's First Journal Giveaway {Ends 10/17}

When I first had my daughter, the hospital had us keep track of everything from when she ate, how long she ate, when she had a diaper, when she sleep - all that stuff. When we got home, we got a notebook and started doing the same. We were very serious about this. We used just lined paper and my husband once said, "wouldn't it be nice to have a book that you could use to record this information?"

We used the fridge and my blog to record her milestones but no official book. With my son, we were not as faithful with all the recording and my mind is where I am storing all his stats. I know I need to write them down but just hadn't found the right book to record them in.

Just recently I heard about Glow Baby's Baby First Journal Books. These are cute books that help new moms keep track of everything from feeding, sleeping, diapering, contacts, and milestones. This would be a great way to keep track of everything that any caregiver of your child might need know.

This book would also be great for developing a schedule with your newborn. If you can keep track of your child's schedule, you are more aware of your child's needs so you can plan better and also help him further develop that schedule.

This would also be great to share with your pediatrician. I do not know how many of my readers are like me but I tend to forget some of the questions I might have in the hustle and bustle of just getting my 7 week old and toddler in the door of the clinic.

Another great thing about this book is that it will help you keep track of those all important milestones. We all want to look back and tell our kids when they first started walking, when they gave us their first smiles, first laughs. I love comparing my son's weight and height to my daughter's just for the fun of it.

This book easily fits in a diaper bag making it perfect for you to take with you to the babysitters, hospital, church nursery (this would be a great place for one as they switch workers so many times), or even just for you to keep track when you are on the go.

I love how it is spiral bound and lays flat for easy use. As moms the last thing we need is something that is hard to write on!

The only thing that I would love to see changed with Baby's First Journal is that it record longer than 3 months or come out with a book similarly that helps you keep track of those milestones longer.

I personally love the idea behind this book and think it would make an excellent baby shower gift. It is not only a great help to new mom but a keepsake that she can later share with her child. My mom actually had a book where she kept her pregnancy weights which was so fun to share, wouldn't it be fun to share this book with your child when they have their first baby?

You can purchase this book for the super affordable price of $14.02 US or $14.99 CAD from
Glow Baby's site.

Glow Baby has also generously offered to give one of my readers their own copy of Baby's First Journal. Even if you are not pregnant or a new mom, this would be a wonderful baby shower gift!

Founded in Toronto by Lindsay Harris, Glow Baby is dedicated to providing unique and user friendly scheduling tools for today’s busy parents. As a mother of two young daughters, Ainsley and Juliet, Lindsay quickly came to appreciate the difficulties of caring for a toddler while at the same time making sure the needs of her newborn were met

She stuggled with having a new born and a toddler so she came up with the journal to help her learn some of her baby's schedules and hadits. She thought that other moms would benefit from having the same opportunity to get organized.

One of the first tools Lindsay developed to help her through this difficult period was a tracking log for Juliet’s basic needs such as feeding, sleeping, diapering and bathing. The tracking enabled Lindsay to better understand Juliet’s patterns and to support a schedule that made everyone’s lives easier, while at the same time reducing stress.
