Holiday Gift Guide Present #1: MagnaPlay: A Unique Way to Color! Giveaway {Ends 11/29}

My daughter loves to color!  I think that is all I hear all day "Mommy, colors.  Mommy, colors."  She colors on the bathtub (with washable bathtub crayons), sits quietly at church and colors, grabs her crayons and colors anywhere and anything she can.

I am always on the lookout for new and innovative new products for her to use to color so when I received word that I was getting to review MagnaPlay, I was super excited.  So was Gracie!

MagnaPlay is a fun, innovative company that has lots of kid friendly magnetic toys to engage your child while on the road, sitting in a doctor's office, or just about anywhere where they need to sit and be quiet for a while.   All of their products are designed to be used with the MagnaKase.

"The MagnaKaseTM is one of a kind magnetic activity case for use with MagnaPlayTM activities and has a Patent Pending. Children are known to have a short attention span and get bored very soon with their activities. The MagnaKase offers a very significant advantage as it is an open-ended toy when combined with other MagnaPlay activities designed for the MagnaKase. Children can engage themselves in different activities within a short period of time especially while on the go. Children will have fun, anywhere, anytime.

The MagnaKase is a case with "magnetic receptive surfaces" that serve both as an activity board and storage case, and fits into a standard backpack. The MagnaKase does not contain magnets and metal objects will not stick to the magnetic surfaces. During travel, children can use the MagnaKase as an activity lapboard while in a car seat, in a flight, in a restaurant or even during a picnic as it is just the right size. They can use the lid as an activity board since the surfaces of the lid are magnetic. The MagnaKase can also be used with other MagnaPlay activities that are designed for use with the MagnaKase. The MagnaKase is eco-friendly as "the write-on wipe-off" feature of the case eliminates the use of paper for drawing and coloring."

Gracie and I received the MagnaColeraze Coloring Puzzles to review and Gracie loved it!  She grabbed her "colors" (dry erase markers that come with the kit) and just began to color away.  I taught her how to take a tissue to wipe off her coloring so she could start over and this just made her day!

She loved this.  The only issue I had with the MagnaColeraze Coloring Puzzles is that you do really need the MagnaKase to properly use them.  We did use a book to place them on and that worked fine but the magnetic strips kind of get in the way.  These do also stick on the fridge and it sure does make for great place for her to color too!

Right now, MagnaPlay is holding a holiday contest.  I love this contest and encourage all parents and grandparents to get their children involved in this contest.  This contest is all about thankfulness and what they they have to be thankful for.  Isn't this a trait that we are all working on instilling in our children?  There will be three winners chosen and each winner will receive $100 Visa Card to buy toys!  There will also be 7 finalists that will receive a MagnaKase.  This contest will end Monday, November 30th so hurry and get those entries in!

Win It!!

I would love to try the mangnetic letters. My son is 6 and in kindergarden now. He loves to "make" new words out of letters and ask me to "sound" them out. Some of them are quite challenging. =)
