Cook's Ham: Best Holiday Dish Giveaway {Ends 12/11}

Winner - #75 - Miss Anita

Every year for Thanksgiving, we have a ham and turkey and we do it again at Christmas.  My father has always been responsible for cooking the ham as long as I can remember.

He puts a brown sugar glaze over the top and let's it cook for several hours.  Right before he serves it, he pours a can of pineapple over the top for a juicy, succulent, sweet ham.   This is something the whole family looks forward to as well as the yummy leftovers.

I didn't know that I was brand loyal to particular ham until Cook's Ham sent me a coupon to try one for myself.  I then realized that this is the ham that we normally buy.  I love Cook's Ham because they use all natural ingredients to make such a yummy ham.  "They slow-cure their hams with natural ingredients like pure cane sugar, real honey, brown sugar and maple syrup. For the perfect finish, they smoke our hams for hours using real hickory wood."

I found their hams to be the same price as other ham brands just juicier and better tasting.  You have so many choices to choose from such as spiral cut, boneless, and the bone-in ham.  I prefer the bone-in ham because I can use the bone to make soup and other things after we finish it up.

Cook's Ham site also has some great recipes to use your leftover ham, ham's glazes, and even tips on how to cook the ham the best.  This year for Christmas we will continue our family tradition of having ham for our dinner and we most definitely will be doing it Cook's Ham style!

You can find and purchase Cook's Ham at most grocery store chains as well Walmart and Target Supercenters.
