Presents for Purpose {Giveaway 8/28}

Have you ever purchased something and wished that a portion of what you were spending would go to a charity instead of all to the company? It's not that I don't like the company to get the profit but sometimes I just think items are way over priced and it would be nice to see companies give some of your hard earned money to people that could really use it.

When you purchase a gift or even an item for yourself from Presents For Purpose, some of your money will go to a great charity. The owners of Present For Purpose, Alayna Kassan and Cynthia W. Dressel, both successfully battled Hodgkins Disease, a form of Lymphoma Cancer. They met in 1999 and in 2002 produced their own line of crystal watches which quickly sold out. Their goal was to give back to the community that had helped them so much! In 2005, Leslie joined their team - she also had been touched by the struggle with cancer. This time through a friend that had struggled with breast cancer twice. These ladies bonded together and decided a company like Presents For Purpose was needed to help fund charities that would help those in their fight for life.

When you shop at Presents For Purpose, you have the opportunity to give back to the charities that you believe in. You may choose the Charity that you want to benefit from your purchase. I think this is neat because we all to purchase gifts - why not give back at the same time?

One of my favorite products is their personalized jewelry bracelet. This would make a nice gift for any mom, sister, or girlfriend.

Another personal favorite are their big brother/big sister shirts. My daughter is a very proud big sister and this is the perfect gift for her.

There are a lot of great gifts that correspond with great charities. It is well worth your time especially if you are planning to purchase a nice gift for someone and one of these gifts fit with what you had planned to purchase.

Right now, Presents for Purpose is part of a campaign called Operation Backpack. Operation Backpack is donating backpacks to children living in homeless shelters who otherwise would not be getting a backpack this year. For each backpack purchased during this campaign, $5 is donated to Operation Backpack to provide school-aged children in the NYC shelter system their own new backpack filled with grade-specific supplies.

Presents for Purpose is so sure that you will love their store and will want to learn more about the great charities that they support, that they are giving one of my readers a backpack from the collection for Operation Backpack. The winner will be able to personalize a backpack for their child by choosing a color, design (hearts, flowers, truck, baseball, soccer ball, ballet slippers) and name or monogram.

Hi Rachael,
I've been following your website and all of the money saving advice you share! I was interested in the presents for purpose giveaway because one of the charities it supports is B*CURED for Brain Cancer Research! My husband lost his best friend this year to brain cancer! Thanks for the cool website!

I visited Presents for Purpose and saw that they support a Breast Cancer Awareness group. This is near to my heart because my stepmom is a breast cancer survivor and a dear friend is now battling breast cancer. I praise the Lord for the strength he has giving both of these amazing women.
