ecoTimeToys: Organic, All Natural Toys! Review and Giveaways {Ends 10/30}

"Where are all the old fashioned wooden imagination toys that we used to play with?" I just recently asked my husband as we walked through the toy department of a local store. Everything is brightly colored plastic that not only breaks quickly but is also not baby or kid friendly. There is little left to spark a child's imagination as everything is electronic and works on its own.

And if that is not bad enough, we now wonder if there is lead in that child's toy that our unsuspecting innocent child is going to stick in his mouth. Honestly, what happened to a good old fashioned wooden toy or rattle?

We had the opportunity to review the Rattling Caterpillar by Haba and boy was I pleased with toy. Gabriel is just a little too little to play with it yet but very soon he will be loving this cute little caterpillar. The caterpillar has the cutest face and I love the quality of this toy. This caterpillar is not one that will break quickly. It will definitely withstand much love and play time as I am sure he will get as Gabriel gets older.

As I looked through ecoTimeToys store, I was struck with just how everything is made for the imagination. I can still remember the hours my siblings and I spent building things and wanted exactly that for my children. My brother is now an engineer and who knows maybe he's career began when he played with building blocks similar to the ones that ecoTimeToys has to offer.
