Vaseline Sheer Infusion

Ah!  Winter!  I love the snow and I actually do not mind the cold.  With winter, unfortunately also comes colds and dry skin.  I am terrible about putting lotion on so when I do, I want something that works immediately.  I have many types of lotions and I really am not a fan of any.  I know most people have already established their favorite brands by now but not me, I just couldn't find one I liked.

That is until recently.  I was recently asked to try Vaseline Sheer Infusion.  I figured I would give it a shot and see what it was like.  If nothing else, my mom and sister love lotion and so they would most definitely take it off my hands if I didn't like it.

Right before I received it in the mail, there was special deal going on at CVS on it where I was able to get it with my Extra Care Bucks for absolutely nothing so I was definitely willing to pick some up.

I was blown away from the moment I put it on!  It is incredibly thick but has a great feel to it.  No, it doesn't feel like Vaseline but like an incredibly great lotion!  I do not like the greasy feeling that comes from other lotions and I feel like this one soaks right in.  It seem to really penetrate into the skin.

Vaseline Sheer Infusion has a special formula that Vaseline came out with called Stratys-3.  Here is the explanation that Vaseline has for this really neat complex:

"Stratys-3™ is the most effective patented moisturizing complex on the market**. It combines three powerful ingredients that infuse and suspend moisture across all layers of skin*-- the top, the core, and deep down.

Vaseline® Sheer Infusion™ with Stratys-3™ is available in three varieties: Botanical Blend, Vitamin Burst, and Mineral Renewal."

I sent a bottle home with my mom to try and to see her take on it.  She also really like this lotion and felt like she had just put it on a few minutes ago all day long!  My dad did say that she felt "sticky" so he isn't a huge fan of the lotion.  She found the scent to be a little strong but the power of the lotion to be different and really exceptional.

I use the lotion at night so have never noticed that all-day feeling or the stickiness but my skin has felt and looked better since I started using the Sheer Infusion lotion.

You can purchase this for around $7.99 at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, or any local store.  This is a little high for my frugal mindset since the bottle isn't very big but I do think it will last a long time because of how thick the lotion is.

Disclosure: This review is based on my own opinion of Vaseline Sheer Infusion. You may or may not agree with my opinion. I was sent product free of charge to review. No one from Vaseline was involved in the writing of this post.
