I absolutely love seafood but do not cook much of it because of the cost. Being frugal minded, I just can not justify the price when I can make an entire meal for a lot cheaper and just as healthy for a lot less.
When Gorton's Seafood contacted me and asked if I was interested in doing a review of their products, I was intrigued. I honestly stay out of that section because of the price and didn't know if I would find anything the whole family would eat.
I picked up the Grilled Salmon with Lemon Butter and the Tenders. They looked super yummy and something the entire family would love. I found that they were in between $3.99 - $5.99 a package at Target. Not bad if it fed my entire family and I only had to add a few things. Of course, it would be great with a salad added to it. I made up the Grilled Salmon and used a recipe from Gorton's website for Grilled Salmon Cucumber Salad. I made the Tenders for my daughter's dinner as she still has a hard time chewing lettuce leaves. How yummy!
Everyone in the family loved this yummy treat and I have decided that we will add Gorton's to my meal plan on occasion. I really loved the flavor, how quick and easy it was, and that it was healthy. There were no additives in it - which I love!
Be sure to check on Gorton's website for coupons and great recipe ideas! Also become a fan on Facebook for the opportunity to win some great prizes - right now they are giving away an Ultra Flip Video Camera!
