Wordless Wednesday - In Loving Memory Of

This Wordless Wednesday is devoted to a sweet, older lady that was incredibly special to my family.  She is my husband's grandma and on Monday, she went home to be with the Lord.  She helped to raise my husband as a child and was more like a mother than a Grandma to my husband.

I was truly blessed to know and love this very special woman.  She had a heart that loved and served everyone around her.  She had a special place in my heart for her love for my husband.  She would and did give everything she had to serve others.  She loved her family and was able to be surrounded by them days before her death.

Grammy will be greatly missed but I look forward to meeting her again in heaven one day.

God bless all of you, sweetie. Losing my Nannie 5 years ago was the hardest and worst thing I have ever been through because she helped to raise me as well; I practically lived with her for a few years when my parents were working a lot and going back to school. She took a piece of me with her, and I did not get to say good bye or tell her how much I love her; I'll always regret that. Having these ladies in our lives is a blessing from God that I'm so grateful to have had. I'm so proud that your husband had someone in his life like her. Please give him my regards, and please know you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad you have your close faith and relationship with the Lord to get you through this hard time in your life. While I am a Christian, and always have been, at that time in my life I wasn't as close with God as I should have been and I did not have that relationship, so I struggle with it. I pray that you are all able to focus on your happy memories and knowledge that you will be back together again some day.
