Admiral Road: A Great Way To Stay Warm This Winter Giveaway {Closed}

Winners - #42 - Jen
#36 - Kim

It is cold here in ND! Right now, it is the middle of the afternoon and a toasty -6 degrees outside. Let me just say, we are sure starting to bundle up around here whenever we get ready to head out the door.  Even the dog doesn't want to go outside because of how cold it is!

Just recently, I received the cutest scarf for Gracie from Admiral Road.  It is a pink fleece with the most adorable cupcakes at the bottom.  My daughter loves this scarf and I love how cute it makes her coat when she wears it.  It also helps to keep her toasty warm.  The scarf is great quality and will not fall apart anytime soon so I know my daughter will get some great wear out of it for some time to come.

Admiral Road has a great collection of scarves for kids and Big Kids.  Each scarf is well made and the detail is incredible.  I just love how different these scarfs are and how they can easily add to any outfit.  This would make a great stocking stuffer or present for any child.

Admiral Road has a great collection of unique Christmas presents.  I have never seen such fun items.  I absolutely love their Treasure Tees.  Each tee's design is done in a high quality black and white and then to add a fun twist, there is an colorful toy sewn into the tee.  The contrast is incredible and so cute!

Admiral Road has so many other great gifts to choose from.  You really can't go wrong with their fun and different yet practical gifts!  You can purchase their fun gifts at their online webstore.

Sacred Glo: An Unique Candle With Three Uses!

I absolutely love candles - love the smell, the ambiance that they create, and the warm, cozy feeling they seem to invoke.  I have always found that candles can be a bit wasteful though.  You only light them for a short period of time to fill your house with a pleasant smell and then when you blow them out, they are fill the house with smoke and they are done.  When the candle has no more wax left, you throw its container away.

I have always felt bad about throwing this perfectly good containers away so when I was presented with a candle that is not wasteful, I was incredibly intrigued.  Sacred Glo candles are the neatest candles I think I have seen.  They first fill your house with their very fragrant smell.  I had the opportunity to review the Almond Glo and loved it.  I think I would really love the Nevis Island Breeze also.

I kept the candle lit for about 10 minutes and then I blew it out.  I waited for the oils to cool slightly and then I dipped my fingers into the oils.  Yes, I actually put my hands into the wax!  I then rubbed the oils from the candle into my hands.  I also had the husband rub my shoulders with the oils.  What a great massage oil, this candle is!  It is a wonderful lotion and very therapeutic.  After doing many hours of painting, this candle was great!

When the candle is completely used up, you can then clean it out and use it as a drinking glass or a classy bathroom decoration!

I absolutely love how not a single thing is wasted with this candle!  What a perfect Christmas gift this would make because you know that the special person who receives this can use for many years to come!  You can purchase the Sacred Glo candles from their website.

Win It!!

For the next three days, Sacred Glo is allowing me to give away three 4 oz containers to my readers!   Each day, I will post a new giveaway which will last for only 24 hours!  Each giveaway will have different ways to enter.  Each day before posting the new giveaway, I will post the winner of the previous day's contest.  Be prepared!  These will run fast!

A Day Worth of Giveaways and Gift Ideas

Over the next few days, I will be bringing you a huge collection of giveaways and gift ideas.  Each giveaway will close 3 days after I list it so that each winner will have the opportunity to receive their prize before Christmas.  Not every gift idea will have a giveaway but many do so I am excited to bring these great items to your attention.  I will try to bring you one every one to two hours so it will definitely be very busy here on the blog.  Also keep on the Holiday Gift Guide because some will be landing there that will not be here.

Whoops Bunny: Cute, Creative Gifts for Every Whoops!

"Uh oh!" is a phrase I hear a lot in my house.  Gracie, almost 2, seems to say this word every 15 seconds about something.  Her name may be "Grace" but she takes after to me and is not graceful in anyway.  Just dinnertime results in food everywhere and I hear a panicky "uh oh" everytime she makes a mess.  I have been known to get spaghetti sauce on the ceiling while cooking so I know where she gets it.

When Gracie and I had the opportunity to review Whoops Bunny's fun, creative gifts there couldn't be anything better that fit my family!  I was intrigued with the name and when the package arrived, I was even more taken with the cute items inside.  The first item, I pulled out were the Whoops Bunny Menu Planner and Shopping List.

As a Keeper at Home and a frugal minded person, I know how important a menu is.  I also know that if I base my shopping list directly off my menu, we save so much more money.  I love these two items from Whoops Bunny because not only are they cute and practical but they look so nice on my fridge.  They have a huge magnetic strip on the back, allowing them to stick quickly and nicely to the fridge.  The menu planner is a wonderful size - rather large but perfect to write every meal on as well as snacks.

The next item, I pulled out was an adorable Whoops Bunny reusable gift bag.  This bag has the adorable Whoops Bunny logo on the front and is made out great fabric and perfect to put any gift in.  I love that they are made out of material and not paper because they are durable and will not get crushed as a normal gift bag does.  It can also double as a great bag for coloring crayons and coloring books as well as many other things.

Inside the gift bag, was an absolutely adorable child's apron and chef hat.  The very first thing Gracie did after I put this on her was run for the mirror.  (She is just slightly vain!)

She is in love with her hat and apron.  The hat is adjustable so a small child like her can wear it and a much larger child can also wear it.  It fit my head so it should fit any size head for the most part.  Gracie and I both love the hands all over the chef hat.

The hands on Whoops Bunny represent how the Whoops Bunny came to be:
"Once upon a time a little bunny had a 'whoops'. The bunny was jumping across the fingers on a hand and whoops...almost slipped off. The bunny and the whoops were captured forever in this rhyme and with a hop, skip and a whoops, Whoops Bunny was born.

Like that bunny, anyone, at any age, anywhere in the world, can experience a whoops! It's a part of what makes life...life! And with whoops-a-plenty under our belts, the bunnies here at Whoops Bunny HQ strive to develop products to deal with any whoops life throws at you."

I absolutely love the quality of Whoops Bunny!  I can tell that they use high quality materials and that a lot of care goes into their products.  The Chef Hat not only was cute and well thought out to be fun and quirky for any child but it was created to last a long time.  It is made of a 100% cotton and Azo free dyes.

The apron that is a part of this set is equally as cute.  For someone as small as Gracie, it is a little large.  It actually goes all the way to her feet but she loved it just the same.  I have been having her help me the kitchen so this was fun for her to get all "dressed up" to help.

On the front of the apron, there is an adorable Whoops Bunny and he is dripping sauce off his spoon.  This so reminds me of what cooking is like in my house and this apron is perfect for all of our Whoops!

I think Whoops Bunny products are just the cutest things on the market.  They are unique and different while being practical at the same time.  I would love to see different sizes in the child's aprons but other than that, I couldn't have been more pleased.

Whoops Bunny has a huge collection of neat things for the whole family.  There are water bottles, hairbows, notepads, wallets, all natural make up and very soon, they are releasing their rain boots and rain coat.  I can tell you that Gracie would absolutely love these and she just might find them under the Christmas tree.  She just loves to splash in puddles and the Whoops Bunny boots and raincoat would be perfect!

Check out Whoops Bunny - I am sure you won't be disappointed!  Their special items would be perfect for stocking stuffers and special gifts this holiday season!

Terri Lee Dolls Giveaway {Ends 11/23}

Since I was just a tiny girl myself, I loved dolls.  When I was 11, I received my first porcelain doll so that while I was getting too big to play with them, I could still collect them.  I haven't received a doll for Christmas in a long time but now I have a little girl who is now old enough to receive dolls and mommy is having a blast looking for the cutest and best dolls on the market for her.

My budget is low so I look for dolls that are not only cute but easily affordable for my family.  When I came across Terri Lee play dolls, I was in love with their sweet faces and toddler looks.

Lately I have noticed a sad trend with dolls.  They look like teenagers with too much attitude and lots of makeup.  Their clothes are also not what I would put on my daughter!  Terri Lee Dolls are a breath of fresh air for me.  While they are for little girls ages 3 and up, they look like little girls.  They have that sweet innocence that toddlers have and their faces are definitely appealing to any little girl.

Terri Lee Dolls come in sets that emphasize certain stages in a little girl's life.  Her birthday party that she is so excited about!  Her first pajama party!  Her first day at school!   Her ballet class or ballerina recitalThe first spring day!  Summer fun with her friends!

Little girls can definitely relate to these dolls because they are doing just what they are doing and having fun doing it.

The best part about these dolls as a parent?  Besides the fact that they have won lots of awards for best toys?  They are great for the budget!  You can pick up one of these dolls at Kmart (they have sold out), Target.com,  Terri Lee's Online Store or Amazon.com for just $19.99!  My husband and I love the Birthday Party Fun doll and since Gracie's birthday is in December are definitely thinking she would love this doll.

These dolls would definitely make some little girl smile when she finds them under the Christmas tree for her!

WIN IT!!!

Terri Lee knows you will love these dolls just as much as I do, so they are graciously giving away the Princess Ballerina doll (pictured above) to one of my readers!  She is sitting at my house and I have kept her hidden from my daughter because of how cute she is!

The Baby's Bundle - Great Holiday Clips Giveaway Winner Announced!

I have grown to be a huge fan of The Baby's Bundle over the last few months.  When I was first introduced to The Baby's Bundle through Twitter, I loved all of the stuff that I found there.  You can find my first review of The Baby's Bundle here

When I was contacted to review and giveaway some of The Baby's Bundle's holiday clips, I was thrilled!  I love her clips and think she does a phenomenal job in making them.

Every clip uses the highest quality ribbons and embellishments.  The one thing that Gracie and I know well are hair clips.  I used to make them all of the time for Gracie so I know good quality when I see it and I also tend to be very picky with the quality of bows.  The Baby's Bundle more than meets my high requirements!

Gracie and I were sent the holiday trio to review and I loved them immediately.  Gracie looks great in the autumn colors so I love to have her wear them.  I also am partial to Christmas red because Gracie looks great in these colors.

I love how easy they are put in her hair and how nicely they stay in her hair.  They are so cute and resist her little hands when she tugs out the clip to "look" at it.  She is even able to put them back in her hair now which I love.

The Baby's Bundle also just came out with the cutest Awareness - Clips For A Cure and I know that I will purchasing some.  We all know people who are affected by some kind of terrible illness and The Baby's Bundle has made it so that our little ones can spread the word with the most adorable clips for their hair.  You can also contact The Baby's Bundle and order the type of Awareness Hair Clips you would like.  I will be ordering the Breast Cancer Awareness ones for Gracie to wear to my Breast Cancer Cause Party in December.

These clips are the perfect holiday accessory for any little girl and there are others that would be great stocking stuffers!  If you are looking for things other than clips, The Baby's Bundle has a wonderful collection of the best baby products on the market!  Definitely something for every mother or baby on your Christmas list.

Buy It:  From now until November 30th, head to The Baby's Bundle and use the coupon code TBBSAVE to take 15% off your order when you checkout!

WIN IT!!!

The winner is #35 - Erica!

Discovery Toys: Toys That Teach

This holiday season as I am looking for toys for my children, I am looking for high quality and something that teaches them a lot.  We are not looking to buy a lot of toys so we do want what we buy to last and to played with more than once.

I was introduced to Discovery Toys when I was a nanny 8 years ago.  I remember a relative buying them for the children.  The toys were not electronic and everything required the children to do it on their own.  Compared to the high priced electronic toys, I truly expected these to pale in comparison.  It was indeed the opposite.  The children would rather play with the toys from Discovery Toys than with the other toys.

When I was approached to do a review, I was thrilled.  I had forgotten the name of the company but when I received the catalog - there were the same toys!  Normally toys change every couple of years, there are few toys that stay around.  I found that most of the toys from Discovery Toys do not change.  They do their research and not only are their toys popular but kids are "inspired" by them.

We were sent the Try-Angle to review with Gabriel and Gracie.  This toy is ages 6 months to toddler.  This toy is great because you can lay it flat for a baby to play with while laying on their tummy or as baby gets older, you can fold it up and put it on a table or on the floor for them to explore.  It is a great activity center that both of my kids enjoyed.  Gabriel is still too little for it but Gracie had fun with at our kitchen table.

Our favorite product that Discovery Toys sent us was Jam Session.  Normally when we think of a Jam Session - we think electronic.  Not so with Discovery Toys!  Jam Session comes with a Hand Drum and Mallet, Guiro and Mallet, 2 Castanets, and a Tambourine.  It also comes with a CD but we didn't try that because Gracie and I were having fun making our own music.  I took the Tambourine and she had the hand drum and mallet.  Oh boy, did she have fun!  She was all over the house drumming on her little drum.  She played with this for over an hour!  Jam Session is definitely a lot of fun and great for the little musician in your life.

Jam Session is $45 and Try-Angle is $30. You can purchase all of your items from a consultant for Discovery Toys.  This would definitely be a fun party to have in your home!  To find the distributor closest to you, go to the Discovery Toys website www.discoverytoys.com and click at the top of the page “Find a Consultant.” Most consultants have websites with their phone numbers listed, you can contact them online or call them if you have any questions.
