Ecogear: Ecozoo Animal Bag Review

When traveling with children, have you ever noticed that their things seem to quickly take over the vehicle you are traveling in?  They also seem to have way more stuff than you do even though it doesn't make sense - they are so tiny? 

About two weeks ago, our family went to a conference and we stopped in Minneapolis on the way back to spend some time with family and just have a little bit of fun.  I knew my daughter would be traveling with my parents to meet us there so I sent her Ecozoo bag along for just the things she would need to keep her occupied while traveling for 5 hours. 

Her Ecogear Organic Cotton Ecozoo Panda Bag is adorable.  It is organic and ecofriendly which I absolutely love.  It is the perfect size for little hands and is easy for Gracie to put her things into and close all on her own.

Gracie loves to be organized and have her place for all "her stuff."  When the bag arrived, the first test was to find out if it would adequately hold her favorite item of all.  Her little stuff dog never leaves her side so she wanted to test out her EcoZoo Panda bag to see if it fit and how he would look.

He fit wonderfully and she was thrilled.  While the bag was toddler approved, the most important was how durable and washable this little guy is.  He is made out of very high quality materials - it is one of the first things you notice when you hold the bag.  The panda part is extremely well made and actually nicer than I thought it would be.  Anything a toddler or preschooler uses needs to be tough and I found the Ecozoo bag to be just that.

After the trip there and back, the bag needed to be washed as my daughter had spilled juice on him.  He washed up amazingly well.  I washed him on the hand wash cycle in my washing machine and hung him up to dry and he was looks exactly the same.

The Ecozoo bags are so cute and would make great backpacks for a preschooler or kindergartner.  They hold just the right amount of supplies and would make any child excited to go to school.

Fairy-Gram: Make One Little Girl Smile Review and Giveaway {Ends 3/10}

Playing dress up is one of Gracie's favorite things.  She loves pretending to be something else.  It grows her imagination and she is at the age that playing is learning is learning right now.

Fed-Ex dropped by yesterday morning and just made Gracie's day.  Inside the box was everything needed for her to become a "butterfly" as she put it.  It was sent from Fairy-Gram and included the sweetest pairs of wings, tutu skirt, adjustable headpiece, twirly stick, and two hairbows.

I was very impressed with the quality of everything inside and just how adorable it was.  The skirt has a beautiful big daisy on it with a comfortable waistband.  The skirt also has flower petals inside of it.  It is incredibly cute!

The wings have the same stretchy material as the waistband of the skirt making it super comfortable for Gracie to wear.  Her favorite part are the wings as she "flys" around the house saying she is a butterfly.

 

 

She  played all day with this wonderful Fairy-Gram and I have a feeling she will be dancing around my house with her wings today also.  

 

What a great surprise this was for my daughter and I think that other little girls would love it too. What a great birthday surprise this gift would be.  This would even be a fun gift idea for Easter or any upcoming holiday.

Nuddle: The Perfect Blanket For Everday!

Here in North Dakota, we battle the cold what seems like all year round.  We do get a slight reprieve in July and August but are hit again in September.  We, of course, have a house full of blankets and when there are gift occasions someone is always giving us another one.  They feel we need them because we live in North Dakota, ya know.   These blankets are great but it is hard to do anything when you are wrapped in a blanket.  Inevitably, the only part of you staying warm is from your waist down because you need your arms uncovered.

Nuddle has solved that problem though with their luxurious blanket that allows you to be cuddled up and warm and still have your arms out to work, play, read, or whatever you want to do.  We were sent a couple to review and when I first opened the box, Gracie was anxiously waiting.  The first blanket I pulled out was the Nuddle Baby Blanket.

I was shocked with how soft and cuddly these blankets are.  They are beautiful, practical, and so incredibly soft.  They are so nice that Gracie was pretty upset when I said "no, this blanket is the baby's."  "Where Ce-ce blanket, mommy?"  That is when I pulled out the Nuddle Kid blanket.  Gracie claimed it before I could even get it out of the package!

She loves this blanket and is always snuggled up with it.  She loves how it goes all the way up to her neck but her arms can still come out to hold books and other things.  (I'm a little jealous.)

She carries this blanket everywhere and if she doesn't have it, she is asking you for it.  My husband has tried to steal it from even though it is too short for him and she won't have it. 

While Gracie has loved her Nuddle Kid blanket, mommy and Gabriel love the Nuddle Baby blanket.  This blanket is unique in that you can use it with a 5 point harness stroller!  The blanket has three holes where the straps and the buckle fit. 

I love this because we can take him out of the warm car, put him in his stroller, and not have to worry about the blanket falling off!  It also has a foot pocket that fits over the end of the stroller so your entire child is covered with the stroller blanket!  (These blankets are only for use with a stroller.)

I know see why Hollywood loves these blankets so much!  I have washed both blankets and they are just as soft as the day we received them.  I will definitely be looking into purchasing the adult size blankets so the whole family can "nuddle" together.
